Songa is the fintech and DFS analyst at the National Bank of Rwanda. He comes from the Financial Sector Development and Inclusion department at the bank. His work includes Driving innovation in the financial sector through digital financial services, Overseeing and implementing innovative initiatives such as the regulatory sandbox, Market empowerment through digital awareness campaigns and education, and Empowering fintechs to create customer-centric products and attract investments.

Songa has a background in IT, policy, and entrepreneurship. He has a master of science degree in Information and technology and has co-founded 3 start-ups in Rwanda and China in EdTech, Digital media and Fintech.

He’s passionate about digitalization in all sectors especially the financial sector and the education sector. When he is not thinking about money, he enjoys playing basketball, music and making friends.
